About Attea Costanzo

Attea is the founder and owner of Feeding Friends Therapy Services and has been a licensed speech-language pathologist since 2013. Her mission is to deliver the highest quality, holistic speech, occupational, and physical therapy services to vulnerable and at-risk patients. She is trained in Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) for patients of all ages, with a specialization in pediatrics. Attea developed and implemented a FEES program at a Level II trauma hospital and has extensive clinical experience across a wide range of settings, including neonatal, infant, pediatric, and adult populations.

Her training spans every major speech therapy environment, including schools, daycares, skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, private practice, and home health. She has worked in Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Units (NICU/PICU), acute and subacute care, outpatient clinics, and rehabilitation centers. For over five years, she served as a rehabilitation therapy services supervisor in a medical setting, providing critical education and mentorship in feeding and swallowing therapy to staff, families, and patients.

As a military spouse and proud mother of three amazing children, Attea brings compassion, adaptability, and a deep understanding of the diverse needs of families. Having personally witnessed the life-changing impact of speech and language therapy, she firmly believes that all patients deserve access to the highest level of care—including instrumental swallow studies—to ensure safe and effective feeding.

Attea is passionate about providing critical and essential care to individuals of all ages and backgrounds across the greater St. Louis area. She is deeply committed to ensuring every patient has access to high-quality, evidence-based therapy services that promote safety, independence, and overall well-being.
